Talented Teaching Assistants to Work at 2006 College for Kids

Chris Gibson, Ian Whitfield and Ethan Kuefner will once again serve as TAs for Dave Briccetti at DVC College for Kids.

Chris Gibson is a graduating senior, entering Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the fall as a Computer Science major.  Chris has had a lot of experience in Java and C programming, and is particularly interested in game development.  He also enjoys the topics of economics and psychology.  He researched the psychology of game design for his senior project.  He thoroughly enjoys helping others learn programming, almost as much as he loves programming.

Ian Whitfield goes to Monte Vista High. His passion is computer programming. His favorite language is Java, but he also knows some C#, J#, Python, Visual Basic, and Squeak. Ian enjoys programming and playing video games during his free time. This year, Ian has helped to create his school's new website, using Java and the Apache Struts framework.

Ethan Kuefner will be attending Campolindo High School as a freshman in the fall. He enjoys an assortment of things, including photography, music, and, of course, computers. In the past, he has worked with Java, Python, Squeak, Objective-C and various other programming languages. He is an avid supporter of the Macintosh platform and of Apple Computer, Inc. in general.
